King’s Table Church exists to see people follow Jesus and make disciples of Him. We do that by sharing the Gospel with doubters & seekers, growing in community together, and proclaiming the Gospel through word and deed.
Core beliefs
King's Table Church holds to the creedal and confessional history of the Church as expressed in the Protestant Reformation and the church planting movements that issued from it.
About our pastor
Jordan Penley is the lead pastor of King’s Table Church. He is married to his lovely wife Jessica. They moved to the Raleigh area in 2008 to study at North Carolina State. After graduating, he worked with Cru at NC State for six years. After his service with Cru, Jordan gratefully served as a pastor at Vintage Church in downtown Raleigh. In 2023, Vintage Church sent the Penleys to plant King’s Table Church in West Raleigh.
Jordan spends his weeks shepherding and caring for the King’s Table members, preparing to teach, discipling leaders, and launching community groups. Jordan is passionate about equipping followers of Jesus to spiritually engage with others, challenging doubters and seekers to investigate the claims of Jesus, and calling people to care for vulnerable families in our city. He received his Masters Theological Studies at Grimké Seminary. Jordan is married to Jessica and they are thankful to be a part of what Jesus is doing in our church and hope to help reach the city of Raleigh with the Gospel.
