We're now in the third week of our Advent series, and one of my favorite parts about a series like this is that we can hone in on such short passages of Scripture. Last week we were in Ephesians 1 (JP preached from 3-6, but we went from 3-10!), and the week before that, we were in Isaiah 9:1-7. With these shorter passages, rather than longer narratives, we can steep ourselves in rich theology and teachings.
This week’s passage is in Romans, and we’ll keep the guide shorter, as a lot of us are likely to be having fun Christmas parties with our people. We hope this Advent season has been a time for you and your people to slow down a bit, catch your breath, and reflect on Christ’s arrival. That said, we’re keeping this guide to just questions as we prepare for our Christmas Eve Eve service and the end of the year! We pray that the coming weeks provide rest in our Savior and joy in celebrating His arrival!
