Ways to serve
-
The Connections Team helps people feel welcomed, known, and cared for as they take their next steps at church. From greeting at the Welcome Tent to guiding guests through the building, answering questions, and helping people get connected to groups, serving teams, or resources, this team plays a key role in creating an inviting atmosphere. Their heart is to reflect Christ’s love in practical ways, making sure every person—from first-time guests to members—knows they belong.
-
The Greeting Team welcomes everyone from the parking lot to the auditorium. The team helps guests and members feel welcomed by greeting them, ushering them into each morning worship service, and preparing and maintaining the coffee area and communion stations.
-
King’s Table Kids is made up of volunteers who are passionate about teaching kids more about Jesus and partnering with parents to disciple the next generation. There are many ways to serve in King’s Table Kids, either with kids (Infants through 5th Grade) or by helping with Check-in and getting new families acclimated. To serve in Kids Ministry, you must have a background check, fill out an application, and complete necessary training.
-
The Production Team is composed of volunteers who serve on an as-needed basis. The tree positions on the Production team are Front of House to run sound, ProPresenter for slides, and Service Producer to manage the flow of services from a technical perspective.
This team works in tandem with the Worship Team to ensure every worship gathering runs smoothly and according to plan. This team is detail-oriented, organized and is passionate about getting the little things right. -
The Safety/Care Team is tasked with ensuring the safety of our people on Sunday mornings. They are responsible for walking our grounds during the services and working to protect access to the children in King’s Table Kids. Everything they do is to ensure that the people attending King’s Table Church can worship and learn in a safe environment.
-
The Setup/Teardown Team is responsible for transforming the school to a Worship Space. From arranging signs and tables to setting up equipment and supplies, this team works behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. This team does require some heavy lifting.
-
The Worship Team helps lead worship on Sunday mornings through the playing and leading of music. It is composed of various instrumentalists and singers who serve on an as-needed basis. This team arrives on Sunday having spent the week preparing to lead worship, ready to sing and “play skillfully” unto the Lord (Psalm 33:3).
To join the band, you will need to complete an application, and you will be contacted for an interview and audition.
