At King’s Table we are grateful to partner with ministries and churches who are deeply committed to making the gospel known alongside us. Each month, we want to share with you how God is at work through our partners and how we can pray alongside of them. This month we are asking you to pray for one of our church planting partners, **Citizens Church in Gastonia, NC:**

There are many things to celebrate at Citizens Church as we are grateful for what God has done in and through our church.

I want to tell you about a family who calls Citizens Church home. Austin and Andrea, and their three children, were brought to our church when a family tragedy sent them searching for answers. After spending years out of church they showed up and found a place to belong at Citizens. And for the past few months they haven’t missed a Sunday. Austin asked for 100 invitations to our Sunday gathering to put into gift bags for a golf tournament his family was hosting. The Lord has been working in their lives in some profound ways. Please continue to pray that God would draw them to himself!

Some Fun Things:

In August we launched our first ever small groups (called Growth Groups) and we have already seen many who call Citizens Church home plugging into our groups, sharing vulnerable prayer requests, and enjoying the gift of fellowship with one another!
We have our first baptisms scheduled for October 26 and our first ever Parent Child Dedication on November 16.
We meet in the club suite (think large conference room) of a minor league baseball stadium and a few weeks ago a foul ball hit the window in the middle of the sermon!

Ways to Pray:

For salvation! That we would continue to see men and women brought from death to life in Christ!
That God would continue to send those who are far from God to our church.
For protection over the pastors and families of Citizens Church. 2025 has been filled with a lot of difficulty. We have an enemy and he hates Christ’s Church. Pray that our church and its leaders would be strengthened by the Lord to continue the work He has called them to.
