Watch the video below to get started!
1. Statement of Faith
Read through King’s Table Church’s Statement of Faith. If you have any questions or would like further clarity, feel free to reach out to the worship director, Jordan Brazinski (brazinski@kingstablenc.com)!
2. Shadowing Timeline
Check out our shadowing timeline to get an idea of what our shadowing process looks like, should we decide to move forward after auditioning. This document details what to expect from reading this page all the way to being scheduled on a Sunday morning after joining the team! Many of the timeframes in this document are in pencil, as our process is very individualized.
3. Audition Form
There’s no rush in filling this out, so feel free to browse and listen to the files relevant to your instrument! At this time, we ask that you limit auditions to just a single audition at a time to keep the shadowing and onboarding process smooth and efficient— if auditioning for an instrument that you can play while singing, please do so in the same videos! At the bottom of the form, there is a field for an audition video. This is how we'll get a baseline for where you're at musically. We have our musicians and vocalists record and submit audition videos so we can see how well you can learn and play or sing specific parts of songs. Please learn and record the whole songs, trying to play them as accurate to the recording as possible. But don’t worry: they won't be shared publicly, and will only be seen by the Worship Director and a select few worship leaders, so no pressure! If you're singing and need and different key for the melody, feel free to do so. If you'd like me to send you a version of the song in a key that’s easier on your voice, just let me know, and I can get it to you!
Please read through the FAQ below before filling out the audition form!
FAQ
-
To join the Worship Team at King’s Table Church, we require that individuals:
Have a heart for leading God’s church in musical worship
Are comfortable on stage and under pressure
Are teachable and collaborative
Are punctual, committed to excellence, and work well with others
Be active Members of King’s Table Church
-
Because the worship team is in such a visible leadership role, setting an example for the church body, we require that everyone who serves on the worship team be members or pursue membership within 90 days of completing the audition process.
We want our leaders at KTC to live lives of integrity on and off the platform. Membership at King’s Table is a dual commitment from Members and Pastors, holding one another accountable to God’s Word for the good of His people and His church.
-
At King’s Table Church, we are committed to the development of people spiritually, relationally, and practically. While we are all in for helping you take the next step, we do expect individuals to come with some degree of musical experience and a teachable spirit. Every week, we use in-ear monitors, the Nashville Number System, Click Tracks, and are lead by a Music Director.
We expect prospective band members to be familiar with these and willing to grow in learning each of these as they are critical in executing a smooth and distraction-free worship gathering.
-
For those who complete the audition and shadow process, expect to be scheduled to serve about once every four weeks. Our Sunday mornings last from 6:30a to 1:30p, which includes setup, run-through, two services, and teardown.
Occasionally, there will be months with a greater need, but we never require volunteers to serve more than once a month.

The worship team at King’s Table Church does not have a mid-week rehearsal. The reason for this being that mid-week rehearsals rarely are the best use of time.
Rehearsals largely tend to swing from one extreme to another: either incredibly productive, only lasting 30min, or incredibly unproductive, taking an entire evening with little progress. With this in mind, we expect our musicians and vocalists to arrive on Sunday mornings knowing their parts, fully prepared to lead worship.
We have about 90min on Sunday mornings to touch on every song and transition, ensuring that everyone is on the same page.
-
However much it takes to learn the song structure, chord progressions (for instrumentalists), and individual parts. In an effort to give Jesus our best and limit barriers and distractions between worship leaders and the congregation, we do not allow music stands and expect all musicians and vocalists to memorize their music. The Sunday Music Director and confidence monitor with help keep us on track!
