Living Stone Church

We have the privilege of partnering with other church plants dedicated to making disciples. One of our church planting partners is Living Stone Church in Apex, NC. God has been at work through this church in special ways as they’ve officially launched. We are grateful to share the gospel alongside them. Here is a message from their pastors, Drew Raynor and Jordan Shelley:

God has been leading and opening doors for the past year as Living Stone Church has gone from planning and preparation, to its official launch just a month ago. It has been incredible to see how God has called and built the group that has locked arms and worked together to follow Him in this calling. We see a need in our part of Wake County for churches to shine bright for Christ and reach our neighbors with the gospel as the area continues to grow in number. 

There are over 8,000 people living within a 1 mile radius of our church building, and we see an enormous opportunity right where God has placed us to connect and engage with them in sharing the the love and hope that Christ offers. We are so thankful for the partnership with King's Table; the support and encouragement you are showing to us is putting wind in our sails week after week. 

Prayer Requests:

- That God would bless our efforts in connecting with the neighborhoods and communities around our church, and that He would give us favor in building relationships with those that manage these developments 

- Strength and endurance for the core team that are carrying a lot of responsibilities here at the start of our church

- That we would be faithful in helping people follow Christ and grow in their love and knowledge of Him and His word 

Highlights:

- Officially Launched on May 31st and had our first baptism, over 100 people were in attendance

- Kicked off our weekly Sunday School classes for all ages as we hope to make, mature, and multiply followers of Jesus  

- God provided a rental space directly in our target area to call our first church home
